Job Details Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) / Circulating Nurse / Perioperative Nurse Location: Minot, North Dakota (58701) - Minot healthcare jobs, North Dakota nursing jobs Setting: Operating Room - Circulating Nurse at a Level 2 Trauma Center Contract Length: 13 weeks Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (travel nursing job) Hours per Week: 40 Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts Shift Schedule: Varies: 0545-1415, 0600-1430, 0830-1700, 1300-2130 On-Call: 1 day per week and portions of 2 weekends in a 6-week rotation Estimated Weekly Pay: $2320 - $2440 Start Date: January 19, 2026 Minimum Qualifications & Certifications Minimum 1 year recent Operating Room RN experience required (2 years preferred) - OR RN, perioperative nursing, circulating nurse experience Active RN license in North Dakota or compact RN licensure (ND RN license accepted) BLS certification (required within orientation period) Travel nursing experience required Cerner EMR experience required Level 2 trauma experience preferred - experience in trauma OR settings is a plus CNOR certification preferred Strong knowledge of asepsis, infection control, and AORN standards Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient advocacy skills Key Responsibilities (Perioperative / Surgical Nurse) Serve as the circulating nurse in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and high-quality perioperative care during pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases Perform thorough patient assessments, prepare and implement individualized care plans, and document according to AORN Standards and Guidelines Collaborate with the surgical team, Director of Surgical Services, OR Unit Manager, and Nursing Supervisor to coordinate care and optimize OR flow Maintain strict asepsis and infection control practices for all surgical procedures Accurately complete all documentation in Cerner and support quality improvement initiatives in the OR Why Join This Travel Nursing Opportunity?
