Key Job Details Location: Ocala, FL 34471 - Ocala / Central Florida Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech Therapist (Travel) Assignment Type: Travel / Contract (Hospital SLP, LTACH) Facility Setting: Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) - inpatient rehab division Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: February 27, 2026 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8-hour days) Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1690-$1820 per week Unit: Rehab Division (inpatient dysphagia & voice therapy caseloads) Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs Parking: Employee parking available Required Qualifications (Hospital SLP / Inpatient) Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Florida Minimum of 1 year of experience as an SLP in a hospital, LTACH, or similar healthcare setting (inpatient experience preferred) Experience evaluating and treating dysphagia, swallowing disorders, voice and speech-language disorders Proficiency with EMR systems (Protouch / Net Health preferred) Excellent communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary rehab team Core Responsibilities (Travel SLP / Rehab) Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia management) Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and measurable goals Perform bedside swallow evaluations and make appropriate diet/therapy recommendations Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and rehab professionals to optimize patient outcomes Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in the EMR system Provide patient and family education on therapy strategies and discharge planning Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to continuity of care This hospital SLP travel assignment in Ocala, FL is an excellent opportunity for licensed Speech Language Pathologists seeking hands-on inpatient LTACH experience, professional growth, and the chance to make a measurable difference in patient recovery.
