As a core member of our imaging team, you will operate advanced digital mammography equipment to deliver accurate screenings and diagnostic procedures. Your role goes beyond technical execution; you are a patient educator and advocate. Precision Imaging: Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms with a focus on high accuracy in positioning and 3D exposure techniques. Clinical Collaboration: Assist Radiologists with intricate procedures, including ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies. Patient Education: Clearly communicate procedures to patients, easing anxiety and educating them on the importance of regular preventative breast health. Safety First: Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety measures and MQSA/FDA standards. What You Bring to the Team Education: Completion of an approved two-year School of Radiologic Technology. Experience: At least one year of full-time experience in Mammography; 3D/Tomosynthesis experience is required. Certifications: ARRT Registered (M). Valid Florida State Radiology License. Current CPR/BLS Certification. Compliance: Ability to document 200 cases every 2 years and maintain 15 Mammography-specific CEUs every 3 years. Technical Skills: Familiarity with RIS/PACS software (eRad or Sectra preferred). About the Environment Our facility is known for its cohesive and friendly environment.
