We are seeking a Financial Manager! Ohio Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial operations related to development, housing, and grant activities while ensuring compliance with regulatory and funding requirements. This role combines financial management, grant compliance oversight, and senior-level accounting functions, including general ledger management, reconciliations, reporting, and audit support. The Finance Manager partners closely with the VP of Finance, Grant Manager, Directors of Supportive Housing, Director of Real Estate and Accounting Manager to support strategic initiatives and ensure financial integrity across the organization. The pay range for this position is $87,000.00- $108,000.00 annually based on experience, education, and/or licensure.Essential Functions Prepare and/or review development and housing monthly journal entries and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely completion, including coordination with external management companies Maintain strong oversight of General Ledger activity to ensure proper classification, accuracy, and compliance Perform and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies Perform and review monthly bank reconciliations Assist budget analysts with departmental and grant variance analysis and reporting Analyze financial data and prepare internal management reports to support strategic decision-making Support the preparation of financial statements and related schedules Draft and update financial policies and procedures to ensure grant compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements Assist the Grant Manager with external audit requirements related to grants and development activities Ensure accurate financial tracking, documentation, and reporting for grant-funded programs Monitor compliance with record retention regulations and funding requirements Collaborate with the Grant Manager and Directors of Real Estate in evaluating the financial performance of external management companies Review financial reports submitted by external management companies for completeness and accuracy Provide financial analysis related to development and housing projects Collaborate with the CFO and VP of Finance on strategic financial analysis, special projects, system implementations, and process improvements Serve as primary backup to the Accounting Manager in their absence Provide guidance and support to accounting staff as needed Identify and implement internal control improvements and efficiency enhancements Organize and maintain all financial documentation within the organization's selected financial system (ISBH) and ensure compliance with record retention policies Ensure adherence to GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulations Travel within designated service area Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements:Education/Licensure: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required Experience: 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including senior accountant-level responsibilities is required Experience with grant accounting and compliance is preferred Experience in housing, development, nonprofit, or property management environments is preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Advanced General Ledger expertise is required Advanced knowledge of GAAP and internal controls are required Experience with financial audits and grant compliance is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are preferred Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is required Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines is required Ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment is required A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle is required An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage is required Ability to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment is required Ability to maintain high-speed internet connection is required Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer is required Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times is required Enjoy a great work environment with an excellent salary, generous paid time off, and a strong benefits package.Benefits include: Medical Dental Vision Short-term Disability Long-term Disability 401K w/ Employer Match Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides support and resources to help you and your family with a range of issues.
