About the job Senior Oracle ADF 12c Developer - PL/SQL & J2EE | Contract Our client is seeking a Senior Oracle ADF Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications built on Oracle ADF 12c. The role requires strong hands-on experience with ADF, J2EE, Oracle SOA/BPEL, PL/SQL, and enterprise application servers. This position includes both development and production support responsibilities and requires close collaboration with business analysts, onsite/offshore teams, and cross-functional technical groups. Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation AssistanceContract Duration: 6 months | W2 Requirements: Support deployments and application operations across environments. Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Oracle ADF 12c and Oracle JDeveloper. Build and support J2EE/Web ADF applications deployed on WebLogic, JBoss, WebSphere, or Tomcat. Analyze production incidents, identify root causes, and implement code fixes. Participate in requirement discussions with business analysts and translate needs into technical solutions. Implement enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements in ADF applications. Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams, explaining requirements, design, and functionality. Review business requirements, identify gaps, and ensure alignment with technical design. Provide clear communication to management regarding status, risks, and issues. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to best practices. Qualifications/Must-Haves: Advanced PL/SQL and SQL development skills. Ability to work effectively with distributed teams. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. 4-5 years of experience specifically with Oracle ADF 12c. Strong experience with Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle SOA, and Oracle BPEL. 8+ years of hands-on Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) experience. Strong experience developing J2EE/Web ADF applications using WebLogic, JBoss, WebSphere, or Tomcat. Experience supporting production applications and performing root-cause analysis. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience in Oracle ADF development and related technologies can substitute degree. Preferred Skills: Experience in large enterprise IT environments. Familiarity with distributed systems and integration frameworks. Experience mentoring junior developers or guiding small technical teams.
