Your Role and Responsibilities The Workday Illuminate Specialist will play a crucial role in shaping, managing, and delivering the Illuminate experience within Workday implementations. This position requires collaboration with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to successfully guide organizations through their Workday transformation. Leveraging Illuminate methodologies, you will align strategy, drive decision-making, and guarantee a high-quality deployment. The ideal candidate should possess extensive Workday functional expertise, exceptional facilitation skills, and a proven background in leading strategic workshops. Key responsibilities include: Illuminate Delivery & Facilitation Lead and facilitate engaging Workday Illuminate workshops, covering Foundation, Future State, Alignment, and Design sessions. Foster strong client alignment on vision, guiding principles, strategic decisions, and business process priorities. Translate organizational objectives into actionable Workday design recommendations. Utilize Illuminate assets, tools, and playbacks to support informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. Client Engagement & Advisory Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership, HRIS teams, and key stakeholders. Clearly communicate Workday capabilities and implications of design choices. Collaborate with change management teams to align process design with future-state behaviors and adoption strategies. Project Collaboration Work closely with Workday functional leads to ensure Illuminate outputs are integrated into system design. Support project planning activities, covering scoping, risk identification, and timeline coordination. Contribute to cross-functional tasks, such as testing readiness, deployment planning, and solution walkthroughs. Quality Assurance & Methodology Ensure adherence to Workday delivery methodology and Illuminate best practices. Maintain and enhance Illuminate deliverables, documentation, and templates. Promote process optimization, configuration consistency, and scalable design solutions. This position can be performed remotely within the U.S. Required Technical and Professional Expertise 5-8+ years of experience in Workday implementations across HCM, Talent, Compensation, or related modules. Proven experience in leading Workday Illuminate or similar strategic design workshops. Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication abilities. Capability to translate complex business needs into Workday-aligned design solutions. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a consulting or enterprise setting. Workday HCM Certification. Experience in organizational design, HR transformation, or change management. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Advanced knowledge of additional Workday modules beyond core HCM and compensation, enhancing your understanding of the Workday ecosystem. Industry-specific compensation expertise, understanding tailored solution design and implementation. Experience integrating Workday with other cloud-based solutions, enhancing the ability to deliver comprehensive solutions that cater to client demands.
