Position Purpose: The Analyst, Supplier Engagement and Enhancement will play a key role in improving processes and engage suppliers effectively to support the rapid growth of hd.com’s product selection. This position will ensure that projects run smoothly and meet their deadlines, collaborating closely with the Online Merchandising Solutions Manager(s) and leadership to prioritize tasks and deliver on team objectives. This role requires building strong relationships with both internal and external partners including Direct Fulfillment Merchants and suppliers, driving data initiatives online. You will monitor data transformations and work with tech teams to address mapping issues, business rules, and any data discrepancies. You will be the main contact ensuring a straightforward and hassle-free onboarding experience for suppliers working with Home Depot.com. Responsibilities include managing supplier onboarding processes, resolving issues, and analyzing new supplier opportunities. Your commitment to providing exceptional customer service will be recognized with accountability for maintaining high service ratings. Key Responsibilities: Attend merchant meetings to identify and facilitate Online Merchandising Solutions (OMS) requests (10%). Lead assortment growth projects including status reporting, item troubleshooting, and attribute maintenance, becoming a Subject Matter Expert for your product category while learning best practices and regulations (40%). Assess the effectiveness of ongoing programs against targets and implement enhancements based on performance metrics and customer feedback (30%). Proactively troubleshoot and resolve operational needs, ensuring alignment between store SKUs and online product availability. Create clear training materials for processes when necessary (20%). Direct Manager/Direct Reports: This position reports to the Manager, Online Merchandising Solutions. This position has no direct reports. Travel Requirements: Overnight travel is typically less than 10%. Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting comfortably, with occasional movement. Light lifting may be required infrequently. Working Conditions: Comfortable indoor working environment; any unpleasant conditions would be minimal and infrequent. No travel required. Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least eighteen years of age. Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated excellence in customer service. Experience in vendor/supplier management. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Proven capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Experience in data analysis. Robust organizational, analytical, and customer service skills. Proficiency in decision-making and problem-solving. Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Deadline-oriented with the ability to handle both long- and short-term projects. Understanding of merchandising assortments and product classifications. Knowledge of Home Depot's internal product systems.
