Join our dynamic team as a Senior Facilities and Engineering Manager at Riderwood Village, an award-winning gated retirement community. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance, engineering, and grounds services are delivered efficiently and professionally to enhance the lives of our residents and employees. How You Will Make an Impact Ensure optimal operation of plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems to meet community demands. Provide comprehensive training for maintenance, engineering, and grounds staff, ensuring they understand the systems they manage. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing community facilities. Develop and manage the annual budget for Maintenance, Engineering, and Grounds services. Analyze monthly financial statements for accuracy and identify discrepancies between actual and anticipated performance. Deliver beautifully landscaped grounds that enhance community aesthetics. Utilize staff and resources efficiently and consider cost-effective outsourcing while maintaining quality service. Implement and oversee a Cost Savings Program that integrates with our building control systems. What You Will Need A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management and supervisory roles, with expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, Life Safety, and Fire Protection Systems. A minimum of 5 years in a management capacity is required. Healthcare experience is a plus, especially with knowledge of the Environment of Care. Proficiency with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is essential. Ability to obtain, within one year of hire, certifications including AFE Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM), EPA 608 Universal certification, NFPA 70E, and OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification. A valid State driver's license, which must be maintained as a condition of employment. Must possess or be able to obtain a current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner's Certificate prior to starting, which must also be maintained. Note that specific state regulations and requirements may apply, taking precedence over those outlined here.
