The Role As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at SONIC Drive-In, you'll play a key role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure exceptional service and quality food for our guests. Your mission will be to create a delightful experience at SONIC Drive-In. Key responsibilities include: Hiring, training, and mentoring team members to deliver a SuperSONIC experience. Ensuring every guest leaves satisfied by providing outstanding service. Communicating the importance of tasks to help team members understand their impact. Celebrating team achievements and providing constructive coaching. Setting clear objectives and consistently giving feedback throughout each shift. Creating a fun and positive work environment. Overseeing key areas including food supply, labor, and guest relations. Upholding SONIC's safety and sanitation standards. Strictly adhering to federal, state, and local regulations. What You Need Strong leadership and communication skills. A commitment to high standards for yourself and your team. A positive mindset, particularly in busy or stressful periods.
