Employment Type:Part timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianDepartment: Outpatient PharmacyEmployment Type: Per DiemShift: Day Shift (Monday-Friday) / No weekends or holidays required.Location: St. Mary Medical Center - Langhorne, PAPosition PurposeThe Pharmacy Tech will assist the Pharmacist by filing physician prescriptions for medications for oral, rectal, topical and injectable use. Always works under the supervision of a pharmacist. Enters patient demographics and insurance information into the computer system. Enters prescriptions onto patient profiles. Checks patients out at cash register. Keeps Pharmacy clean, neat and organized.Minimum Qualifications: 1-2 Years of Pharmacy experience preferred Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) certification within 1 year of hire date or currently enrolled in Pharmacy School Program Position Highlights: Work/Life balance with flexible schedules.?
