A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the Denver, CO area for contract coverage at multiple elementary schools. This opportunity involves providing speech and language services to school-aged children and preschoolers at three different schools within the district, with assignment and coverage dates varying by location. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language pathology services to students at Eagleview Elementary, Westview Elementary, and Thornton Elementary (Preschool through Elementary). Manage a caseload of students requiring evaluation, therapy, and progress monitoring. Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student communication development. Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress reports, and required paperwork. Adhere to district policies and professional standards within an educational environment. Qualifications: Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure. Valid Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification for school-based SLP services. Open to Clinical Fellowship candidates; SLPA candidates will not be considered. Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Assignment Details: Contract position providing Leave of Absence (LOA) coverage. Full-time (35+ hours per week). Coverage dates vary by school: Eagleview Elementary: August 18 - October 30 Westview Elementary: August 12 - October 12 Thornton Elementary: August 14 - December 18 On-site work required at schools within the Denver area.
