IR Technologist in Aurora, IL

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist with expertise in IR, peripheral vascular (PV), and vascular imaging, including pulmonary embolism (PE) cases. This role is based in Aurora, IL, offering a contract position with a reputable healthcare facility that values skilled imaging professionals. Key Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IR Technologist. Previous travel contract experience, with at least one completed travel assignment. Proficient in IR, PV, and vascular imaging, including handling pulmonary embolisms. Valid Illinois Radiologic Technologist License. Current CPR and ACLS certifications. Ability to respond to on-call vascular calls within approximately 30 minutes. Strong references verifying clinical skills and professionalism. Schedule & Location: 10-hour day shifts. On-call rotation requiring coverage of about 10-12 call days per month. No regular weekend shifts unless on-call. Holiday coverage as needed. Maintain accurate patient and procedural documentation. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
