An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to support complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries in a dynamic operating room environment. This role requires expertise in assisting during procedures such as endoscopic vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting, alongside the ability to manage OR call responsibilities with a dedicated team of surgeons. Key Qualifications and Experience: Registered Nurse with First Assistant certification (CRNFA) required Acute hospital Operating Room experience strongly preferred; at least 1 year recommended Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting, radial artery harvesting, and cardiovascular surgical assistance Comfortable taking call approximately 1 in 4 weekdays and weekends, including one night Monday through Thursday and one weekend per month Ability to work collaboratively with cardio thoracic and vascular surgeons in a fast-paced surgical setting Location: Positioned in Owosso, Michigan, this role offers the chance to work within a vibrant medical community that balances small-town charm with access to advanced healthcare facilities.
