This opportunity is designed for skilled Interventional Radiology Technologists with specialized training in angiography and neuro interventions. The role supports fluoroscopic and specialized neuro-interventional procedures at a stroke and level 1 trauma center, providing critical assistance throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, operate, and maintain angiography imaging equipment using sterile techniques. Assist licensed practitioners during neuro and body interventional procedures. Administer contrast media safely, assess patient risks, and monitor for adverse reactions. Verify patient clinical history, lab work, and informed consent documentation. Adhere strictly to radiation safety practices to minimize exposure. Utilize PACS and electronic health record systems proficiently. Provide clear explanations and patient education regarding procedures. Maintain inventory and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Participate in quality assurance and safety protocols, including timeouts. Support training, education, and supervision of students and healthcare providers. Qualifications and Experience: Certification and registration with ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist (R)(CV)(ARRT) and/or (R)(VI)(ARRT) preferred. BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Associate's degree from ARRT-accredited institute preferred. Experience in neuro interventions essential due to stroke center operations. Trauma experience highly valued. Familiarity with EPIC EHR and PACS preferred. Strong critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Schedule and Location: Monday through Friday, 4 nine-hour shifts. On-call approximately once per week and every 5-6 weekends (Friday evening through Monday morning). 30-minute response time required for call. Working Conditions: Exposure to physical restraints, infectious materials. Ability to safely lift and maneuver equipment and patients (up to 100 lbs.).
