A skilled registered nurse with expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing is sought for a rewarding contract assignment. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures, working alongside a dedicated surgical team in a dynamic clinical environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the CVOR, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases for cardiovascular patients. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Monitor and manage patient vitals and conditions during surgical procedures. Maintain strict adherence to sterilization protocols and surgical safety standards. Document patient care activities accurately and promptly. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current RN licensure with documented experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room nursing. Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and intraoperative monitoring. Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and changing patient conditions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week. Shift hours range from 10:00 AM to 5:15 PM, including 12-hour night before operative (NBO) shifts.
