An opportunity is available for an experienced Evening Shift IV Pharmacy Technician in a closed-door, long-term care facility. This direct hire position requires a reliable individual with excellent attendance and a strong background in sterile compounding. The role is essential for maintaining the safe and efficient preparation of intravenous (IV) medications while adhering to strict regulatory standards. Located in Aurora, IL, this role involves working Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with rotating weekends every other week. The technician will be part of a high-volume operation handling approximately 600 prescriptions per day, supporting quality patient care through meticulous preparation and inventory management. Key Responsibilities: Prepare IV medications using aseptic techniques to ensure sterility. Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain safety and compliance. Manage medication inventory efficiently. Adhere to USP 797 standards and other applicable regulations. Utilize Frameworks software system (training provided). Qualifications: Clear and active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license. Proven experience in sterile compounding. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong reliability and consistent attendance.
