Other duties as assigned. Coordinates pre-project activities, including review of existing conditions, schedule, budget, and cost management during the requirements phase. Adheres to corporate plans and all rules and regulations of applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Maintains communication with contractors, vendors, and multiple departments on utility interruptions, safety issues, infection control concerns, and changes to the original plan. Develops and maintains positive relationships with facilities, departments, and vendors, serving as a general resource and liaison. Tracks and maintains requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices, resolving discrepancies to properly account for project budgets. Works with blueprints and sketches to define customer needs and accommodate requirements. Provides feedback to leadership and customers on project progress and adherence to timelines. Ensures database reflects current progress and budget updates for all assigned projects. Prepares project schedules and cost estimates, coordinating the work of subcontractors and vendors. Supervises daily progress of each assigned project, resolving barriers and ensuring compliance with established procedures and safety standards. Manages various sized projects from start to completion, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple small to mid-sized healthcare projects and reestablish priorities as necessary. [Required]• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook. [Required]• Knowledge of healthcare design and construction techniques. [Required]• Familiar with construction drawing software such as AutoCAD and Adobe. [Required]• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and business documents (i.e., floor plans, panel schedules, quotes, scopes of service, contracts, etc.) [Required]• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills. [Required]• Ability to make presentations, develop reports, and prepare schedules for management and/or vendors [Required]• Ability to establish and execute projects within budget and in a timely manner while identifying opportunities for quality and/or process improvement. [Required]• Ability to make appropriate independent judgments. [Required]• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work and manage multi-faceted teams providing direction and assigning accountability to a diverse group. [Required]• Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar project management program. [Preferred]Education:• Bachelor's [Required]• Master's [Preferred]Field of Study:• Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field• Master's in Construction Management, Engineering, Interior Design, or related healthcare field.Work Experience:• 3+ years of Facilities or Project Management experience [Required]• Experience with Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) state agency. [Preferred]• 5+ years of Facilities or Project Management experience. [Preferred]• Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar project management program.
