Job Description My Client , a growing Commercial Insurance Wholesaler established in 2018, is seeking a skilled and experienced Full-Stack .NET/Angular Developer to join our dynamic team. We recently relocated to Independence, Ohio, conveniently located off Rockside Rd, making us easily accessible from anywhere in the Cleveland area. About the Role: This is a new position, created to support the continued evolution and expansion of our application. In the past year, we've implemented significant architectural changes, enabling deployment to multiple sites with diverse business models. While our core business is Commercial Insurance, we've recently partnered with a benefits company, extending our platform to serve the benefits space. Our application is a suite of tools, and its configuration determines the exposed functionalities, workflows, and screens, adapting seamlessly to different industry needs. As a Full-Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining this versatile platform. You will work alongside a small, dedicated development team, utilizing a modern tech stack and contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle. You will also occasionally provide internal desktop support to My Client employees, addressing issues related to monitors, docking stations, passwords, and the web application itself. Since we are entirely cloud-based, there are no physical servers to manage. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain features for our core web application using C# .NET, Entity Framework, and Angular. Contribute to front-end development, ensuring a responsive and user-friendly experience. Participate in code reviews and testing processes. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide occasional desktop support for My Client employees. Adapt to different industry configurations and workflows within the application. Qualifications: Several years of experience in .NET development. Angular experience is highly preferred, but experience with any modern front-end framework is acceptable. Ability to work autonomously and professionally within a team environment. A commitment to writing high-quality, robust code. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology. While insurance experience is not required, a willingness to learn about the industry is a plus. Technical Skills: C# in .Net 8 Entity Framework 8 Angular 14 (with plans to upgrade) Azure (Azure SQL, Azure Functions) Azure Dev Ops (Kanban boards, Continuous Deployment) Git Kraken Bootstrap 5 Font Awesome 6 Work Environment: We maintain a collaborative and supportive work environment. Our daily life as developers typically involves two recurring meetings: a 9 am stand-up and a 3 pm testing meeting. Other meetings may occur periodically for task grooming or collaboration with business stakeholders. Developers can expect to spend the majority of their time focused on coding and development tasks, with occasional interruptions for internal IT support.
