Daily responsibilities include: Handle inbound callsfrom members regarding their health benefit plans Make outbound callsto follow up on claims or benefit inquiries Research and resolvemember questions, escalating when necessary Ask questions and actively listento understand customer needs Document all interactionsaccurately within internal systems Coordinate with care providers, including doctors' offices, to assist with appointment scheduling or connecting members with specialists Educate providerson benefit plans and share available contracting opportunitiesWhat You BringTo be successful in this role, you'll need: 1+ year of call center experience(required) 1+ year of outbound calling experienceStrong ability to handle complex or challenging callsfrom members and providers Excellent communication, problemsolving, and active listening skills A customerfocused mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality service Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Des Moines, IA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
