In this pivotal role, you will lead our in-house IP legal team and play a crucial part in shaping a robust intellectual property portfolio that underpinnings our R&D, manufacturing, and commercialization initiatives. We need a strategic partner and innovative thinker who can expertly address patent, regulatory data exclusivity, trademark, and broader intellectual property matters. Your role will include supporting corporate and business development, fostering research collaborations, and staying ahead of patent trends while advocating for the company's interests in IP-related government and regulatory policies. Qualifications: To thrive in this position, you must possess a Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school, be admitted to the USPTO and at least one state bar, and hold an advanced degree in biological sciences (Ph.D. preferred). A minimum of 15 years' experience in biopharmaceutical IP practice is essential, including at least 7 years in-house within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors. Your deep understanding of global biopharmaceutical patent law, regulatory data protection, and industry best practices will be instrumental. Practical experience in drug discovery, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of various drug types is vital. We seek a proven leader with a successful track record in patent portfolio development and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
