Operations Specialist

Position: Financial Operations Specialist Location: West Hartford, CT Industry: Financial Services / Wealth Management Compensation: $60,000-$80,000 base salary commensurate with experience, plus discretionary bonus eligibility; full benefits package offered A well-established, boutique wealth management firm is seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to join their firm! Alongside an existing Operations team member and under a senior leader, this person will be provided with hands-on training and mentorship as the firm continues to grow. This position is ideal for a candidate with 2+ years of experience in financial services/wealth management who is detail oriented, collaborative, and values being part of a small team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required - preferably in finance or a related field 2+ years of experience in financial services / wealth management Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Financial software systems Must be willing to undergo background and credit checks Responsibilities Perform daily data downloads and updates within portfolio management and related systems Reconcile portfolio management system data against custodian records Assist with trading activities using wealth management software Conduct daily cost basis reconciliations Support the monthly client billing process Serve as a liaison to bookkeeping and accounting functions Prepare monthly and quarterly operational and reporting packages Assist leadership with compliance-related tasks and documentation Manage relationships with software providers and vendors, including renewals and procurement tracking Document, catalog, and improve routine office procedures and workflows Provide operational support to the Advisory team as needed INDA
