Dynamic Sealing Technologies, Inc. (DSTI) of Andover, MN is looking to hire a Quality Technician. SIGN ON BONUS ADDED! $1,500!As a Quality Inspector, you are responsible for accurate testing, verification and inspection of materials/purchased goods, machined components, assembled Rotary Unions, and outgoing product per Industry and DSTI standards.You embrace technology and are comfortable using programs like Microsoft Word for work instruction, CMMS systems for task assignment and Outlook for email. We will provide training on our specific technology tools, but you must be comfortable using a computer as part of your daily duties.Duties for a Quality Technician Perform dimensional inspections using CMM and hard gauging equipment. Verify incoming materials, machined components, assemblies, and outgoing products. Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles. Identify and document non conformances. Conduct visual inspections (welds, plating, surface finishes).Prepare documentation for customer shipments.Take product photos per company standards. Collaborate with Engineering and Production to resolve quality concerns. Contribute ideas for process and quality improvement.  Qualifications for a Quality Technician High School Diploma or GED required.1-3+ years of previous experience in a quality assurance position.Experience with CMM operations (PC-DMIS exposure preferred). Strong understanding ISO 9001.Familiarity with GD&T.Experience using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gages. Comfortable using computers and programs such as Microsoft office and ERP systems.
