Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Description The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on all industrial equipment within the facility. This role focuses heavily on electrical systems, with a ratio of approximately 80% electrical to 20% mechanical work. The technician will assist the maintenance manager with the installation of Preventive Maintenance (PM) throughout the facility and ensure production machinery, such as conveyor systems, operate with minimal downtime. Responsibilities Repair and maintain industrial equipment, specifically focusing on conveyor systems for green beans and bell peppers. Assist in the installation and management of Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs. Ensure production machinery runs smoothly with minimal downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues independently. Perform electrical work, including working with systems up to 480 volts. Diagnose and repair three-phase motors. Essential Skills Strong electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience in repairing conveyor systems. Knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance up to 480 volts. Experience with three-phase motor repair. Additional Skills & Qualifications Machine repair experience. Hydraulic and pneumatic system experience. Fabrication skills. Work Environment The facility offers flexible shift options with openings on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. The working conditions include a temperature of 40 degrees, so appropriate warm attire, such as coats and gloves, is necessary. After one month, company uniforms are provided. During peak seasons, expect a workweek of 55-60 hours, Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Benton Harbor, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
