Position Overview Morristown Express is actively seeking dependable and safety-oriented Class A CDL drivers for Regional and Local routes. Enjoy steady pay, predictable schedules, and a supportive work environment as you deliver essential freight in your region. Compensation and Home Time Top drivers can earn an average gross pay of over $90k annually. Average gross pay ranges from $70k to $80k per year, with opportunities to earn more. Afternoon and evening start times are primarily available. Drivers can stay out for a night or two for longer regional loads or are also welcome to handle local out-and-back trips. Weekly guaranteed pay. Weekend premium for each load completed. $50 Sleeper Pay for drivers taking their DOT breaks in their trucks away from the terminal. $10,000 Sign-on Bonus for new drivers. Unlimited driver referral bonuses. Quarterly safety bonus. Equipment and Driver Support Truck parking available both at home and the terminal. Limited overnight trips to enhance your work-life balance. A combination of drop & hook and live load/unload based on customer needs. Assigned late-model equipment equipped with free XM radio. Paid orientation and paid tanker training at $200 per day. Tanker endorsement is required and reimbursed upon hire. Less traffic is expected with evening and night driving schedules. Driver Responsibilities Operate company equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain vehicles with a focus on safety and cleanliness. Comply with FMCSA regulations and company policies diligently. Accurately maintain ELD logs, trip reports, and documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and teammates. Driver Qualifications Valid Class A CDL issued in your state of residence. A minimum of 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience. Must be at least 21 years of age.
