We're looking for individuals who possess: Exceptional customer service skills A High School diploma or GED A flexible schedule and a passion for making a positive impact As a Plasma Processing Specialist, you will: Utilize your strong organizational, computer, and troubleshooting skills in a dynamic environment where you will handle various responsibilities including maintaining accurate donor files, managing shipping logistics, and overseeing inventory control. Your primary responsibilities will include: Collecting and processing donor samples for testing Recording the weight of products and samples Labeling samples and freezing units within specified timeframes Packing units and preparing samples for shipment to our testing laboratory Monitoring storage conditions and ensuring equipment functionality Maintaining active communication and a commitment to quality At Grifols, we produce vital plasma-derived medicines for patients and equip healthcare professionals with the necessary tools and information for expert medical care. Occupational Demands: Work in a plasma center involves exposure to biological fluids and potential infectious agents, as well as electrical lab equipment and extreme cold environments below 32 degrees F. Personal protective equipment is mandatory. The role requires standing for 4 to 6 hours daily, with some bending, twisting, and frequent hand movements. Physical requirements include light lifting of 15 lbs occasionally, and lifting from 25 to 35 lbs for 1-2 hours daily, with a maximum lift of 50 lbs. Close attention to detail, excellent auditory skills, and the ability to follow instructions accurately are essential.
