Job Opportunity: We are on the lookout for a skilled Bar and Plate Saw Operator to join our team at our Limerick, PA facility. Position Summary: The Saw Operator will ensure the safe operation, maintenance, and cutting of stainless steel and nickel alloys according to customer specifications. Key Responsibilities: Take primary responsibility for operating and maintaining the bar saw machine, ensuring production quality, accuracy of production logs, and proper handling of BT/Travelers/Programs. Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance as needed. Assist the maintenance team whenever required. Monitor machine consumables, cut and dispose of scrap materials, and report any equipment deficiencies. Work with the Production Control team using specified plates, bars, remnants, and programs; seek prior approval for any necessary changes. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department regarding cutting tolerances, part quality, and ISO 9000 compliance. Uphold safe work practices and consistently follow safety protocols while wearing required protective equipment. Manage bar inventory organization within the plant and maintain an orderly work area. Ensure all tools are stored properly and maintain cleanliness in your section. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager or floor supervisor. Qualifications: Minimum age of 18 years. High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficient in reading and writing English. Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and reach; capable of lifting 50 lbs. Skills: Strong attention to detail. A collaborative team player. Basic computer and software familiarity. Experience Required: At least 1 year of experience operating a plate or bar saw. Minimum of 1 year of experience operating an overhead crane. At least 1 year of forklift operation experience. Additional Training: Basic knowledge in math and statistics. Compensation: $20 - $24 per hour, based on experience. Compensation details: $20 - $24 hourly wage.
