Job Overview The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and overseeing all unit operations during their shift. Collaborating with other management team members, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, aligning with established policies and procedures, and embodies our organization's values to support outstanding patient experiences and clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Facilitates admission and discharge processes to ensure optimal patient throughput and quality care. Engages in ongoing assessment of patient care services with the management team. Works collaboratively with experts and managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes. Promotes a patient-first philosophy, engaging in service recovery as necessary. Implements nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement, including hourly rounds and employee touchpoints. Participates in staff recruitment and training processes, recommending actions related to performance management and compliance. Oversees staff scheduling and ensures labor management aligns with patient care needs. Supports inventory management and ensures proper supply and equipment handling. Qualifications Required: Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Current RN licensure appropriate for the state of practice or an active compact license. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
