The Senior Category Manager – Supply Chain is crucial in shaping spend analysis and strategic sourcing initiatives. In this role, you will drive the development and implementation of innovative sourcing strategies that aim to enhance cost efficiency and quality while closely aligning with the organization’s goals and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your key responsibilities will include: Overseeing a diverse portfolio of corporate services including IT software/hardware, consulting, and travel. Leading strategy development and execution to meet business objectives and improve cost efficiency. Conducting RFX events via Coupa, performing bid analysis, presenting sourcing recommendations, and executing award selections. Facilitating quarterly business reviews (QBR) with key vendors to monitor performance and drive improvements. Collaborating with legal and business leaders to manage all contracts and ensure measurable performance outcomes. Guiding supplier-driven initiatives to foster continuous improvement, utilizing data, feedback, and industry best practices. Identifying and mitigating potential business continuity risks within the supply chain. Leading change management initiatives when establishing sourcing programs while continuously evaluating for performance enhancements. Gaining expertise in Coupa to support system management, audits, and user training. Creating and updating training materials for internal users to ensure seamless process operations. Tracking performance metrics (KPIs) and developing strategies for ongoing enhancements. Partnering with Business Process Improvement and Data & Digital teams to optimize sourcing systems and functions. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Expertise in managing software as a service contracts, consulting agreements, and purchasing terms. Strong analytical capabilities to support data-driven decision-making. Proficient in building and nurturing successful cross-functional relationships. Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes through effective communication and relationships. Skilled in identifying underperformance and implementing proactive corrective strategies. Expertise in strategic implementation and compliance in key categories. Creative problem-solving skills for addressing business challenges. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders. Adept at assessing system functionalities and suggesting improvements while training users. Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Experience/Minimum Requirements: A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Supply Chain and/or IT support roles. Experience in category management for direct and indirect materials, procurement operations, and vendor management. Prior experience in a process-focused role, including procurement/sourcing and systems management. Proven proficiency in Coupa at an SME level. Other Skills/Abilities: Preferred experience with JDE and Coupa or similar spend management platforms. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Good financial acumen. Strong interpersonal skills for fostering professional relationships. Ability to meet project deadlines while effectively managing resources. Well-developed organizational skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently. Working Conditions: This is a hybrid role requiring in-office attendance Tuesday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work from home or the office on Mondays and Fridays.
