The ideal candidate enjoys working with patients, has strong optical knowledge, and takes pride in helping patients select eyewear that improves both vision and confidence.This role involves working closely with doctors and staff to ensure patients receive an outstanding experience from exam to eyewear delivery.ResponsibilitiesAssist patients in selecting frames and lenses that meet their visual needs and lifestyleEducate patients on lens options including progressive lenses, coatings, and specialty lensesTake accurate measurements (PD, OC height, etc.)Process and dispense eyewear ordersAdjust and repair frames when neededVerify prescriptions and ensure accuracy of ordersCoordinate with optical labs and vendorsMaintain an organized and attractive optical displayProvide excellent patient service and follow-upQualificationsPrevious experience as an Optician or Optical Sales Associate preferredKnowledge of lens designs, coatings, and frame fittingStrong communication and customer service skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with EMR or optical software is a plusABO certification is a plus but not required
