LHH is partnering with a well-known company to identify a Payroll Specialist for their team. They need someone who can handle payroll processing for about 200 employees and partner with the HR department for onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration. You will also handle other accounting tasks that relate to the payroll department. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of payroll processing and have experience on ADP or another similar payroll platform. This position is fully onsite to start but then you will be able to enjoy a hybrid schedule after training. You will be successful in this role if you are self-sufficient, able to navigate through different software systems, and have professional communication skills. The office is in Kirkland, WA where there is free parking. Responsibilities Accurately process payroll for all employees, including full-time, part-time, contract, and temporary staff. Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare necessary tax forms, such as W-2 and 1099. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions, resolving any discrepancies. Process payroll related journal entries and other payroll reports. Perform employee account reconciliations and ensure employee records are updated. Additional tasks as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. At least two years of payroll processing experience. Familiarity with payroll software and systems, such as ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
