Title: Network Admin Location: Walnut Creek, CA Duration: Fulltime JOB DESCRIPTION: Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs. Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls to ensure network security and compliance with organizational policies. Manage Azure networking components, such as virtual networks, subnets, and security groups. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements. Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance with standards. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network administration and security. In depth knowledge in Palo Alto deployment/Migration from On-prem to cloud base (SAAS) solution. Hands on experience on Cisco routing protocols specifically BGP. Hands on experience on Cisco Switching devices (Nexus). In depth troubleshooting knowledge on Cisco/Palo Alto/SD-WAN solution. Have good understanding in Azure cloud base solution. Palo Alto SD-WAN knowledge would be added advantage. Should be standalone engineer; able to work on projects independently.
