SharePoint Engineer Location: Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), Washington, DC Clearance: TS/SCI w/CI Polygraph Work Type: On-site, Mon-Fri , 40-hour work week Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is seeking experienced SharePoint Engineers to support our federal customers by engineering, administering, and enhancing SharePoint solutions that power internal collaboration and public-facing sites across classified and unclassified networks. You'll maintain and improve customer SharePoint environments and meet defined service levels for user support and platform reliability. What You'll Do Sustain and administer SharePoint sites (sites, subsites, lists, libraries, content/features). Proactively monitor workflows and resolve defects in line with defined SLAs. Provide responsive user support: triage work-stoppage issues within 1 hour; resolve other tickets within 1 business day; manage joiner/leaver permissions within 1 business day. Engineer for resilience: plan and execute upgrades/migrations/IT changes and restore all data, functionality, and permissions within 3 business days. Operate across multiple federal domains for internal and public-facing content and ensure Section 508 accessibility compliance for web content. Build SharePoint automations and knowledge-management tools to streamline records management, internal data sharing, and administrative workflows. Develop new capabilities: translate stakeholder requirements into working designs; integrate with other apps/databases; deliver usable web parts, reports, user guides, and admin run-books; provide training. Operate securely and in compliance with DoD requirements within government workspaces. Required Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of professional experience delivering SharePoint solutions in enterprise or federal environments. Clearance: Active TS/SCI (or current eligibility) with a CI Polygraph. Version Expertise - SharePoint 2019 (On-Prem): Farm administration (Central Administration), web applications, site collections, and content databases. Service applications: Search, User Profile, Managed Metadata, and related topology. Cumulative Update/patch management; backup/restore; ULS logging/Health Analyzer; PowerShell automation (including PnP) and search schema tuning. Authentication & access control patterns common in federal on-prem environments (Kerberos/NTLM, claims); governance for on-prem farms. SharePoint Designer (2013) & Forms: Building, maintaining, and troubleshooting 2010/2013 workflows; customizing forms and pages. Comfort with HTML/CSS/JavaScript for page/UX adjustments; experience maintaining legacy InfoPath forms where still in use. Building dashboards or automations that support customer business processes and reporting. Compliance & Service Orientation: Demonstrated ability to meet service SLAs (1-hour/1-day) and to execute restoration plans after platform changes within 3 business days; experience aligning with DoD security expectations and Section 508 standards.
