Job Title: Power BI Applications Developer/ Architect Location: Washington DC 20002 (Onsite) Onsite Role and Webcam Interview Job Description: 1-5 years of experience. Manages, organizes, and administers systems analysis while preparing applications and operating systems for processing data and solving problems. Responsibilities: 1. Design and develop compelling Power BI data visualizations. 2.Design, develop, and maintain Power BI Dataflows (Gen 1 and Gen 2). 3. Create functional and technical documentation related to Business Intelligence solutions. 4. Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. 5. Develop and conduct training for current technical staff and nontechnical users. 6. Collaborate with both business and IT partners to identify key use cases and define associated requirements. 7. Conduct and support whiteboarding sessions, workshops, design sessions, and project meetings as needed. Required / Desired Skills Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience Required 5 Years 1-5 yrs. clarifying system and program intent Required 5 Years 1-5 yrs. identifying problems, suggesting changes, and determining extent of application systems changes Required 5 Years Advanced experience using MS Power BI. Must have deep understanding of Power BI Desktop/Server, DAX and SQL Required 3 Years Microsoft technology stack experience (SQL Server, SQL Management Studio, SSIS, SSAS, Azure data platform, etc.) Required 3 Years Exceptional analytics, conceptual, problem-solving abilities, communication skills and experience training staff and users. Required 3 Years Experience working with K-12 education data and school district staff to understand the data.
