Full-Time Houseman

The 4 Diamond Westin Richmond is searching for a Housekeeping Houseman. Full Time, Monday- Sunday Availability. The ideal candidate will have a pro-active "can do" attitude and provide exceptional distinctive premium service to our guests. If you enjoy working in an elegant atmosphere, fast-paced environment as well as working in a team environment, this is the ideal job for you! Must be able to learn how to operate, load, and unload industrial washers and dryers; must be able to sort linens, be on feet for scheduled hours, be able to lift 75lbs regularly, and perform any other duties requested by management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Distribute linen to designated areas in the hotel in accordance with established par levels in each area Maintain each storage and distribution area in a clean and organized condition Report any linen shortages or other discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests Assist other housekeeping employees in maintaining clean and organized work and public areas Sweep and wash floors, vacuum carpet, wash walls, dust furniture and fixtures and clean ashtrays Remove trash from work areas to the loading dock/dumpster and remove trash and linen from cleaning carts Make up and deliver roll-a-way beds, refrigerators and other guest requests Clean elevator car and tracks Adhere to all Marriott / Musselman standards.
