Manager - Power Plant Systems

Day (United States of America) Department: 100 - 806000 TG - Facilities Management Position Description: Assists in the management and supervision of the Power Plant within the Facilities Management Department; that will assure continuous efficient operations of the facility, its engineering systems, and department personnel. This position will be responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the Power Plant, including the entire electrical distribution system of the Main Plant, as well as the Main Hospital electrical distribution of Terrebonne General. In addition, the position is responsible for managing and supervising on a 24/7 on-call basis for the entire high voltage and 480 volt electrical distribution system of both the physical plant, main hospital, and outlying buildings on and off campus. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred or 10 plus years of equivalent and/or equal experience preferred. 2. Completion of vocational training in a specific craft preferred. 3. Experience in public utilities and/or healthcare related engineering preferred.
