Manufacturing Manager - Oil & Gas Job Summary This critical leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence within a dynamic industrial manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Manager will oversee production operations, process optimization, and team performance while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic leader who champions continuous improvement and fosters a high-performance culture. Responsibilities Direct and manage all manufacturing operations to ensure production goals, quality expectations, and safety standards are consistently achieved or exceeded. Lead lean manufacturing efforts, including Kaizen, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives, to enhance efficiency and eliminate waste. Plan and manage production capacity, scheduling, and resource utilization to meet current demand and support future growth. Define, monitor, and improve key performance indicators related to productivity, quality, cost control, and on-time delivery. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to ensure seamless operations. Lead equipment upgrades, machinery installations, and facility expansion projects from planning through execution. Oversee process engineering activities to improve manufacturing efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Ensure effective utilization of ERP systems for production planning, inventory management, and performance reporting. Maintain strong cost controls while supporting high-volume production and operational agility. Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements. Recruit, train, develop, and mentor manufacturing personnel, promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the organization. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline. Proven experience in a Manufacturing Manager or comparable leadership role within an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies. Hands-on experience with ERP systems, production planning, and supply chain coordination. Demonstrated success in capacity planning, KPI development, and process and workflow optimization. Experience supporting new facility start-ups, production line expansions, or significant equipment upgrades. Detail-oriented, practical, and approachable leadership style with a track record of building high-performing teams. Experience in high-mix and/or high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred.
