River Edge offers outpatient services at our Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County and Baldwin County locations. Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups. Position Overview: The Clinical Supervisor and Utilization Liaison will collaborate with the Utilization Manager and work closely with River Edge Behavioral Health's clinical team. This position is responsible for overseeing the professional growth, competency development, and clinical practice of clinicians and direct care staff in a behavioral health setting. The supervisor will provide guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality client care. Additionally, this role supports utilization management functions for outpatient adult, child, and adolescent programs, ensuring adherence to ethical standards, state licensing requirements, and organizational policies. Location/Schedule - 175 Emery Highway, Macon, GA. Monday-Friday with flexibility based on supervisee needs. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide individual and/or group supervision to pre-licensed clinicians and direct care staff in accordance with DBHDD, CARF, and state licensure board standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state licensure requirements and communicate any changes to supervisees and leadership. Collaborate with the Utilization Manager and clinical leadership to assess training needs and support ongoing professional development. Maintain accurate documentation of supervision sessions per organizational and licensing board requirements. Ensure supervisees adhere to applicable laws, ethical standards, and program policies. Review supervisees' clinical documentation and interventions for alignment with program guidelines. Facilitate case reviews related to treatment planning and client outcomes. May include a combination of in-person and virtual supervision. Work is performed in a clinical office environment and may require limited local travel. Qualifications:Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field. Current and active independent clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Georgia. Approved-or eligible for approval-by the appropriate licensing board to provide clinical supervision. Minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience in a behavioral health setting. Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision, mentorship, or oversight. Preferred QualificationsExperience in community behavioral health or outpatient clinical services. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices. Bilingual or multilingual skills.
