Assistant Pool Manager

Job Summary: Will perform a variety of administrative support duties in support of the Aquatics Coordinator and Pool Manager. Responsible for overseeing Lifeguards, Water Safety Instructors, Water Aerobics Instructors, and Swim Coaches at Rifle Metro Pool. Ensuring the safety of all guests and staff members, performing pool maintenance, testing water chemistry, managing all required pool documents and ensuring they are being completed. This is an in-person position that is not eligible for regular remote work. Experience and Training:Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Job Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Colorado Driver's License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire with an acceptable motor vehicle record. Must pass a background check and MVR with results acceptable to the City of Rifle. Work Experience in Positions Similar or Related to This Job: Required one year of related aquatic experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. This is a part-time, Seasonal position with no benefits, beginning Summer of 2026. The wage range is $17.86 - $21.98 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
