Title- Linux Ubuntu Engineer Location- Sunnyvale, CA (Day1 Onsite)- Once candidate is selected there will be In Person interview for final discussion. Long Term Contract In person interview- we have updated the JD need core RHEL AND UBUNTU EXPERIENCE and highlighted points as well Skills- We are looking for Core RHEL and Ubuntu. Candidate should have strong experience in below highlighted skills. Roles and Responsibilities: • Linux support (Ubuntu/RHEL related products - IDM/Satellite/Centrify) - product centric knowledge and experience. • Hardware install/break/fix/troubleshoot - Dell/ Cisco UCS/ HPE - hardware install and maintain lifecycle. • SAN/NAS (Pure/Isilon/Netapp). • Maintain customer-facing, mission-critical 24/7 production services. • Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot operating systems, networks, and applications. • Perform regularly scheduled maintenance and upgrades, including instance patching and replacement. • Provide infrastructure-level support for Production, Development, and QA environments. • Drive best practices for operational policies and procedures, including communication, change, and incident management. • Participate in an on-call rotation. • Writing deployment scripts, debugging application issues, and evaluating new technologies. • Delivering 12x7 operations through a customer-focused approach, including responding to production alerts. • Implementing system-level and application performance monitoring metrics using various monitoring tools like Elastic Search, Logic Monitor, etc. Skill/Job Requirements: • 8+ years of experience with Linux (Ubuntu and RHEL, all other Linux flavors or Windows). • Good grasp of fundamental security concepts with hands-on experience in implementing security controls and compliance requirements • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work well in a dynamic, collaborative team environment • Working knowledge of risk management and standards. • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related degree, required
