Job Title: Supervisor, Human Resources Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite) Shift: Monday-Friday, Day Shift Pay Range: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour Employment Type: Temporary, Full-Time (Temp-to-Hire) Job Description: Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a mission-driven community healthcare organization in San Diego to hire a Supervisor, Human Resources (Temp-to-Hire). This role will oversee day-to-day HR Operations with a primary focus on Onboarding and HR Support, while supervising staff and ensuring consistent, compliant, and high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong HR operations experience, exposure to HR service centers/shared services, and hands-on Workday experience, preferably within a healthcare or regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise staff responsible for onboarding, HR support, and day-to-day HR operations Oversee new hire onboarding processes including pre-employment steps, I-9s, background checks, and orientation coordination Serve as escalation point for employee and manager HR inquiries Ensure timely completion of required new hire and annual trainings Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development support to team members Monitor workflows, prioritize tasks, and ensure service level standards are met Partner with HR leadership on short- and long-term planning and process improvements Perform reporting and analysis of HR data; create routine and ad-hoc reports Support and participate in audits, ensuring documentation and processes meet compliance standards Review HR procedures and materials for compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and external vendors Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required 3+ years of Human Resources or HR Operations experience preferred Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred Experience using Workday or similar enterprise HRIS strongly preferred Experience in HR service center/shared services environments preferred Healthcare, nonprofit, or regulated industry experience preferred Knowledge of onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and reporting tools Ability to work onsite and travel between sites as needed About the Organization: The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to community medicine and providing culturally competent care to medically underserved populations.
