Bridge Inspector

Job Overview Seeking a Bridge Inspector to support and lead bridge inspection efforts across Indiana. Assist with onsite bridge inspections, data entry, and bridge inspection reports. Manage bridge inspection equipment, schedule bridge inspection personnel etc. Eventually lead onsite bridge inspections. Work and coordinate with roadway, water, environmental, survey, and utility engineers. Qualifications: Be a Registered Licensed Professional Engineer (PE); or hold bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology from an ABET college or university and be a registered EIT; OR In lieu of degree, 3+ years of equivalent work experience with a focus on bridge design, construction, or maintenance activities. Knowledge of INDOT bridge inspection guidelines is optional. Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to safely traverse uneven terrain. Valid driver's license. Willing to travel for bridge inspections (day and overnight trips as required). Willing to eventually become an Indiana Bridge Inspection Team Leader.
