IV Certified Pharmacy Technician - Murfreesboro, TN

An IV/Infusion Pharmacy Technician position is available for an 8-week contract with a possibility of contract-to-hire based on performance. This role is located near Murfreesboro, TN, with shifts from Monday to Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and occasional Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Responsibilities: Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications accurately. Assist in prepackaging medication for dispensing in compliance with standards and government regulations. Support the Pharmacist in final checking of medications, including packaging and coordinating timely delivery to customers. Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter data into the computer system for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement. Help maintain inventory by receiving, rotating, and posting lot numbers/expiration dates of medications and supplies. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, check equipment calibration, and ensure overall workplace safety under Technician Supervisor guidance. Qualifications: Valid Tennessee pharmacy technician license in hand. Prior IV/Infusion pharmacy technician experience is required. National pharmacy technician certification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Location: Murfreesboro, Tennessee (near Nashville area).
