IT Project Manager

Position: Project Manager / Project Lead Location: Blythewood, SC (Onsite with 25% Remote) Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension) Interview: Webcam & In-Person Role Overview Seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate agency-wide IT initiatives for a large public-sector organization. The role partners closely with IT leadership and the Project Management Office (PMO) to deliver strategic and tactical projects and help establish standardized project management processes. Key Responsibilities Lead IT projects end-to-end from initiation through closeout Manage scope, schedule, milestones, risks, resources, and deliverables Coordinate with internal teams, government stakeholders, and business partners Track project progress, budgets, risks, and issues; escalate as needed Facilitate project meetings, status reports, and stakeholder communications Maintain master IT project portfolio and reporting materials Support development and adoption of standardized PM methodologies Document lessons learned and finalize project documentation Required Skills PMP Certification (Required) Strong experience managing IT projects in complex environments Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills Preferred Skills Experience leading system modernization initiatives Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
