If you're hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there's only one choice.Regional Procurement Manager, Seed TreatmentYOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe primary responsibilities of this role, Regional Procurement Manager, Seed Treatment, are to: Support creation and ensure implementation of a fit-for-purpose category strategy that adds significant value for the business; Keep up to date on category market intelligence and supply market trends to gain competitive market advantage and to make better business decisions; Identify market trends in supply base to understand how the innovation potential can be leveraged successfully within (sub-) category; Translate results of category strategies, initiatives and projects into Sourcing Approaches, How Docs, and Handover Docs in alignment with the GBS, stakeholders, and external partners; Establish effective, trustful, personal relationships with key business stakeholders to set joint target agreements, aligns sourcing projects and be the contact point for all procurement related topics for his/her business stakeholder community; Know business strategies, objectives, and demand forecast; Understand and challenge resulting business requirements; Apply fit-for-purpose supplier management to supply base within responsibility and create relationships with assigned strategic partners, key suppliers and selected base suppliers if required; Support diversity and inclusion programs in local markets as appropriate; Serve as a key contributor to regional product launch teams to enable future growth opportunities; Be a procurement representative on all cross-functional asset-based initiatives for the Biologicals and Seed Treatment enhancement product subcategories; Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts and supply agreements with key suppliers in conjunction with the Seed Growth team. WHO YOU AREBayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at relevant experience Strong leadership and managerial skills at the general management level; Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, influencing and problem-solving skills; Strong ability to manage virtual team environment; Organization, executive level, intercultural and interpersonal skills; Demonstrated analytical decision-making skills and creative thinking; Specific knowledge and experience of strategic procurement, quality management systems, regulatory requirements and logistics processes, principles, and practices; In depth operational knowledge of SAP. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least eight years of relevant experience OR M.B.A. / Master of Science in a business or technical field with at least six years of experience; Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $112,400.00 - $168,600.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
