Department Overview The Critical Communication Networks products organization is at the forefront of designing innovative solutions that improve communication efficiency, effectiveness, and safety in various settings, from schools and manufacturing plants to hotels and distribution centers. Within this organization, the PCR Dispatch Product Management team drives the strategy for the Avtec dispatch products portfolio, which includes software, hardware peripherals, and diverse service offerings for enterprise and public safety clients worldwide. We are seeking an enthusiastic Product Management Intern for our Summer 2026 program. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic development of our Avtec dispatch products portfolio while collaborating with Product Managers and gaining hands-on experience throughout the product development process. Key Responsibilities: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and trends. Assist in documenting and organizing product requirements and feature specifications. Support the management of the product backlog and prepare for sprint planning meetings. Collect, analyze, and synthesize product usage data to support informed decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and sales, to ensure alignment on product requirements and execution priorities. Preferred Experience: Interest in RF/Telecommunications, specifically wireless communication concepts, with a desire to learn about mobile radio and communication systems. Familiarity with software development processes, including Agile/Scrum, and knowledge of common application types (web, desktop, or mobile). Basic awareness of hardware design cycles and integration concepts. Foundational knowledge of IP networking and network protocols. Interest in the enterprise or public safety dispatch industry; technical knowledge of public cloud, broadband infrastructure, radio standards, or telephony products is a plus. Basic Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree. Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident, or an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted for master's level students).
