Worker Type: Employee Job Post End Date: 03/07/2026 About this opportunity: Cenovus Energy is seeking a Manager, SCM Lima Operations, to lead supply chain activities at the Lima Refinery within US Operations. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, SCM US Operations, this role oversees indirect goods and services lifecycle management, sourcing, contracting, and transactional support while providing day-to-day leadership to the local SCM team. The successful candidate will drive value creation, cost optimization, and risk mitigation in close partnership with refinery leadership. This position is a key member of the Lima Refinery Leadership Team, supporting the General Manager in delivering effective end-to-end supply chain solutions. Interested in working in Lima? Learn More What you'll do: Develop and execute overall strategy for the sourcing support, contracts administration, and performance management; coordinating the team's activities to meet the service levels for US Downstream. Lead the department in driving cost out of the business through developing support staff capabilities and developing more efficient business processes in collaboration with the Sr. Manager, US Operations. Ensure One SCM approach in relationship with Supply Chain Service Center, SCM US Projects, US Materials Management, and other SCM teams. Deliver all operating performance metrics for SCM, US Operations, focused on safety, delivery, cost, and quality, facilitating business process in support of ongoing operations Ensure SCM processes are executed in accordance with Cenovus Supply Chain Management policy, and all relevant regulations. Using Commercial judgement, common sense, and simplification mindset, understanding the differences between non-negotiable compliance elements (Safety, Ethics and Compliance, Code of Conduct, Law) and SCM operating practices, while keeping Cenovus US Downstream business value in focus. Ensure SCM US Operations supports safety and a culture of accountability aspirations through alignment to the robust Contractor Safety Management practices and COIMS Element 11 requirements. Who you are: Legally authorized to work in the US High school diploma or equivalent required; a post-secondary degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field and/or Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) certification considered an asset 12+ years of work history, including experience in a procurement environment, and supervisory experience We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.
