Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in Java/Spring Boot to architect reactive services and deploy nextgeneration applications across Kubernetes environments. Rate Range: $49/hour to $ 53 /hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Developer job responsibilities include: Design and develop highly scalable, faulttolerant, reactive microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Scala, Go, and associated frameworks such as Apache Camel. Build and deploy nextgeneration microservices within Kubernetes environments across cloud platforms including GCP and Azure. Architect distributed, cloudnative solutions with a strong focus on performance tuning, multithreading, networking, and high availability. Implement rigorous software engineering practices including unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), code reviews, documentation, and standardsbased code structuring. Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, Cassandra, Cosmos DB) to design and optimize datadriven application architectures. Collaborate with global, crossfunctional engineering teams to innovate, enhance, and deliver modern microservices aligned with enterprise technology strategy. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 6-8 years of experience in building scalable, cloudnative microservices and distributed systems. Strong expertise in Java/Spring Boot development with handson experience deploying applications on Kubernetes across Azure or GCP.
