Job Title: Business AnalystLocation: Rosemead, CA Reports To: Program Manager / Project Manager Summary We are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong experience supporting IT initiatives across multiple domains. The ideal candidate demonstrates deep analytical capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. Expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies is required. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into clear BRD, SRS, FRS, TRD, and RTM specifications. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, SMEs, Developers, QA, Business Users, and Program Managers to ensure alignment with business goals. Evaluate business processes and recommend improvements based on detailed analysis of business rules and client objectives. Create mockups, prototypes, workflow diagrams, and process maps to support development and testing teams. Manage user stories, product backlogs, and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies including Release Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, and Retrospectives. Support testing teams for System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT; coordinate defect tracking and closure. Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation and records. Review design documents and provide oversight to ensure deliverables meet defined business requirements. Participate in stakeholder workshops, solutioning sessions, and process definition meetings to identify opportunities for organizational improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst across multiple domains. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication; able to interact with all levels of the organization. Proficient in SDLC, including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies. Hands-on experience with project and collaboration tools such as HP ALM, Rally, SharePoint, MS Office. Strong skills in requirements engineering, data modeling (ERD, Use Case, Class Diagrams), and process mapping (Visio). Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred. Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and function effectively in a team environment. Preferred Experience Experience in product re-engineering and delivering customer-centric solutions. Demonstrated leadership through volunteer or community engagement activities.
