RN - Infusion (Occasional)

Day (United States of America) Department: 100 - 846500 TG - Cancer Clinic Position Description: Under the supervision of the Clinic Manager, the RN for the Infusion Center plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates nursing care for patients. The RN participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing personnel and other patient team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The RN assures all nursing services and patient electronic medical records successfully meet QOPI, JCAHO, ONS Chemotherapy Administration Safety Standards and ACoS compliance/certification, while increasing survivor ability and lessening the burden of cancer. Qualifications: 1.Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Louisiana. 2.CPR required 3.Oncology experience required 4.Minimum knowledge of two years' experience in nursing preferred. This is an occasional position to work on an as needed basis.
