Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Lead and manage the nursing staff within the Pediatric ICU, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Ensure compassionate, patient-centered, and high-quality care delivery within the unit. Manage day-to-day operations of the Pediatric ICU, including resource allocation, equipment maintenance, and inventory management. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards for pediatric critical care services. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize pediatric critical care services. Candidate requirements A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field is preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in pediatric critical care, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required. Certification in Pediatric Nursing (CPN) or Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) is preferred.
